Deletionis

Deletionis is the genitive singular form of the Latin noun deletio, meaning “the act of deleting” or “removal.” The noun deletio is formed from the verb delēre, “to delete” or “to erase,” with the common Latin agentive suffix -tio. As a grammatical form, deletionis is used to express possession or relation in Latin phrases, such as “the deletion’s effect” or “part of the deletion,” and it appears in scholarly and historical Latin texts where modern concepts of deletion are rendered in Latin.

In Latin literature, deletionis functions as a standard genitive form within noun phrases. It does not denote a distinct, standalone concept in classical Latin the way modern technical terms do in English.
