Decíduos
Decíduos refers to the shedding of a part of an organism that is no longer needed or has reached the end of its useful life. This is a common biological process observed in many life forms. In plants, the most familiar example is deciduous trees, which shed their leaves annually, typically in autumn. This shedding helps them conserve water and energy during the colder, drier months and prevents damage from frost. The fallen leaves also contribute nutrients back to the soil as they decompose.
In animals, decíduous structures can include teeth, antlers, and fur. Deciduous teeth, also known as milk teeth
