Dcell is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Grant Morrison and artist Igor Kordey, Dcell first appeared in New X-Men #127 in 2002. The character's real name is not revealed, but Dcell is a genetically engineered mutant who was created by the Shi'ar Imperial Guard as a living weapon. Dcell possesses the ability to absorb and replicate the powers of any mutant he comes into contact with. This absorption is permanent, meaning that once he has taken a mutant's powers, they are lost forever. This makes him a particularly dangerous foe, as he can rapidly accumulate a vast array of superhuman abilities.
