Dayara, commonly known as Dayara Bugyal, is a high-altitude meadow in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. The term bugyal means meadow in the Garhwali language. The meadow sits at about 3,000 meters above sea level and lies in the Uttarkashi district near the villages of Barsu and Barnala Tal, within the broader Dayara Bugyal area. Dayara Bugyal is noted for its expansive green pastures during summer and a snow-covered landscape in winter, with panoramic views of surrounding peaks such as Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch on clear days.
