Datahoogte
Datahoogte is a Dutch term used in data management and geospatial analysis to denote the height dimension of a dataset. It describes the vertical axis of a data structure that is otherwise defined by breedte (width) and diepte (depth). In many contexts the height axis is referred to as the Z-dimension or the elevation axis. In geospatial analysis, datahoogte usually represents elevation above a reference surface, captured as an attribute per cell in a raster dataset or as a coordinate in a 3D point cloud. Heights are typically expressed in meters above a vertical datum such as the ellipsoid or geoid.
