Czeles is a town and commune in the fictional nation of Veridia. It lies in the Czeles Valley along the Czeles River and serves as the administrative seat of Czeles Municipality within Veridia’s regional framework. The surrounding countryside is primarily agricultural, with orchards and grain fields forming the economic backbone.

History: Archaeological finds indicate settlement in the 11th century. Czeles received a market town charter in 1310 and developed as a local trade center during the Late Middle Ages. The arrival of a regional railway in the 1860s spurred growth, and the town underwent modernization in the 20th century.

Demographics and culture: As of 2023, the population is around 8,500. The community is predominantly Veridian, with minority groups present. Czeles hosts an annual Harvest Festival and preserves a historic center that includes St. Michael’s Church, dating to the 16th century, and the 18th-century Market Hall.
