Cucutilla
Cucutilla is a municipality located in the department of Nariño in southwestern Colombia. It is situated in the western foothills of the Andes Mountains, approximately 60 kilometers west of the departmental capital, Pasto. The region is characterized by a humid subtropical climate and fertile land, making it suitable for agriculture. The primary economic activities in Cucutilla include coffee cultivation, as well as the production of various fruits and vegetables. Cattle ranching also plays a role in the local economy.
The municipality's history is rooted in its colonial past, with settlements gradually forming around agricultural estates.
