Cryptics are a type of cryptic crossword puzzle, known for their complex and often misleading clues. Unlike standard crosswords where clues are usually direct definitions, cryptic clues employ wordplay, misdirection, and a variety of devices. These clues typically consist of two parts: a definition and a wordplay element.
