Crosslegislative refers to actions, processes, or outcomes that involve or span across multiple legislative bodies. This can occur at different levels of government, such as within a federal system where state legislatures interact with a national legislature, or in systems with multiple chambers within a single legislature. The term can also apply to international legislative cooperation or agreements between different countries.

In a federal system, crosslegislative activity might involve states passing laws that align with federal mandates or, conversely, states enacting laws that diverge from federal policy, leading to potential legal challenges. Federal legislation may also be influenced by the collective actions or concerns of state legislatures.
