Corsicana
Corsicana is a city located in Navarro County, Texas, United States. It is situated approximately 50 miles south of Dallas. The city was founded in 1848 by William B. Chambers and was named by him, reportedly after Corsica, the birthplace of his mother. Corsicana's economy has historically been driven by agriculture and oil production.
