Completionsutstyr refers to the specialized equipment and materials used in the final stages of drilling and preparing an oil or gas well for production. This process, known as well completion, involves making the well ready to flow hydrocarbons to the surface. Completionsutstyr plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of resources.

The range of completionsutstyr is diverse and includes downhole tools such as packers, which isolate zones within the wellbore, and perforating guns, used to create holes in the casing and formation to allow oil or gas to enter. Other essential components include safety valves, subsurface flow control devices, and screens or filters to prevent sand and other debris from entering the production system.
