Comonomerita is a term used in polymer science to describe the phenomenon where two or more different monomer units are incorporated into the same polymer chain. This results in a copolymer, which possesses properties that are often a blend or enhancement of the properties of the homopolymers that would be formed from each monomer individually. The composition and arrangement of these comonomers along the polymer chain significantly influence the final material's characteristics.

The process of creating copolymers involves polymerization reactions where distinct monomers are present and react.
