Chitãozinho is the stage name of José Lima Sobrinho, a Brazilian singer best known as one half of the sertanejo duo Chitãozinho & Xororó, formed with his brother Durval de Lima (Xororó). The duo became one of the most successful and influential acts in Brazilian music, helping to bring sertanejo from regional roots to national prominence.

Beginning in the late 1960s and achieving broader recognition in the 1970s, Chitãozinho & Xororó established a distinct sound that blended traditional rural melodies with contemporary pop-influenced arrangements.
