Chiclebased is an adjective used to describe products or formulations in which chicle serves as the primary base material. Chicle is a natural gum obtained from the sapodilla tree (Manilkara zapota). The latex is harvested by tapping mature trees, and the resulting gum is processed into a chewy base for chewing gums and related confections.
