Casuarictins

Casuarictins are a group of natural organic compounds belonging to the tannin family. Specifically, they are classified as hydrolyzable tannins, meaning they can be broken down into simpler components, such as gallic acid and glucose, through hydrolysis. These compounds are primarily found in plants, particularly in species of the genus *Casuarina*, which gives them their name.
