Camberley

Camberley is a town in Surrey, England, in the north-eastern part of the county. It lies within the borough of Surrey Heath, close to the Berkshire border, and near the towns of Frimley, Sandhurst and Bagshot. It is about 40 kilometres southwest of central London and is accessible by road via the A30 and nearby trunk routes, with the M3 junction to the south.

Historically a rural village, Camberley grew into a market town and service centre in the 19th century, spurred by the arrival of the railway and improved communications. The town centre underwent major redevelopment in the late 20th century, with the opening of the Mall Camberley shopping centre and related leisure facilities, establishing Camberley as a regional retail hub.

Notable facilities include Camberley Theatre, a venue for concerts and performances, and Frimley Park Hospital in nearby Frimley. The town is also known for its parks and green spaces, including Frimley Lodge Park, and for its network of shops and restaurants along the High Street.
