Calchaquíes
The Calchaquíes were an indigenous people who inhabited the Calchaquí Valleys of northwestern Argentina. They were part of a broader group of peoples collectively known as the Diaguita. The Calchaquíes were known for their sophisticated agricultural practices, particularly their terrace farming in the arid mountainous terrain.
