Cachereglerna is a concept originating from Swedish, literally translating to "cache rules" or "caching rules." In a computational context, it refers to the set of guidelines or policies governing how data is stored, retrieved, and managed within a cache. Caches are temporary storage areas designed to speed up access to frequently used data by keeping it closer to the processing unit. Cachereglerna dictates the conditions under which data enters the cache, how long it stays there, when it is considered stale or invalid, and what happens when the cache is full.
