CaPVerhältnis is a German term that translates to "Calcium-Phosphate Ratio" in English. It refers to the quantitative relationship between calcium and phosphate ions within a biological or chemical system. This ratio is crucial in many physiological and pathological processes.

In human physiology, the CaPVerhältnis is tightly regulated, particularly in the blood. Maintaining the correct balance of calcium and phosphate is essential for bone mineralization, muscle function, nerve transmission, and blood clotting.
