COPIféle

COPIféle is a multinational nonprofit organization focused on the governance of information policy, digital literacy, and data ethics. It aims to promote evidence-based policymaking, transparency, and inclusive access to information in public life, supporting both the public sector and civil society in navigating complex information ecosystems.

Founded in 2012 by researchers, civil-society groups, and policy practitioners from Europe and North America, COPIféle operates as a neutral forum for cross-sector collaboration. Its headquarters are in Geneva, with regional offices to support activities in different regions. The organization emphasizes multilingual engagement and open collaboration across disciplines.
