CHMOS
CHMOS stands for Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor. It is a type of semiconductor technology used in the design and fabrication of integrated circuits, particularly microprocessors and microcontrollers. The key feature of CHMOS technology is its use of both P-channel and N-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) to create complementary circuits. This pairing allows for very low static power consumption because in any given state, at least one of the transistors in a complementary pair is in a high-impedance state, effectively turning off.
This low power characteristic makes CHMOS widely adopted in battery-powered devices and applications where energy efficiency
