CEmärget is a lesser-known but historically significant Swedish band formed in the early 1990s in Stockholm. The group emerged during the city’s vibrant alternative music scene, blending elements of rock, punk, and experimental sounds with a distinct Swedish lyrical and melodic style. Their name, "CEmärget," is a portmanteau of "CE" (an abbreviation for the Swedish word *centrum*, meaning "center") and "märget," which refers to the core or essence of something, reflecting their focus on raw, unfiltered expression.
