C2020
C2020 is a Chinese weather satellite launched on September 22, 2009, by the Chinese space program's Guangdian Group. The satellite is a redundant system to the Fengyun-3C (also known as Fengyun-3C01). Fengyun series of meteorological satellites are designed to gather data for weather forecasting, research, and to aid in understanding of meteorological phenomena. The C2020 is operated by the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), and Information centre of National indigenous innovation base declares it was built by China's Allies company.
