Burwash

Burwash is a village and civil parish in the Wealden district of East Sussex, England. It lies in the Weald and forms part of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The parish includes the village itself and surrounding rural settlements such as Burwash Common and Blackboys, and it is characterized by farmland, woodlands and timber-framed houses.

Notable landmarks include Bateman's, a 17th-century house purchased by the National Trust in the 20th century and the former home of writer Rudyard Kipling from 1902 to 1936.
