Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is a freshwater lake in southwestern Uganda, located near the town of Kabale and close to the border with Rwanda. The name comes from the Runyankole/Rukiga languages and is commonly translated as “place of many little birds,” reflecting the area’s abundant avifauna.
