Bumburet

Bumburet is a small village located in the commune of Măgău, Bistrița‑Năsăud County, in the historic region of Transylvania, Romania. The settlement lies on the right bank of the Someșul Mare River, at the foothills of the Rodna Mountains, and is situated at an elevation of roughly 340 metres. As of the latest census, the village has a population of around 300 inhabitants, the majority being ethnic Romanians with a Hungarian minority that reflects the multicultural character of the area.
