Budennovsk
Budennovsk is a town in the Republic of Crimea, a region that has been the subject of international dispute since 2014. It is located on the southern coast of the Crimean Peninsula, approximately 20 kilometers east of the regional capital, Simferopol. The town is named after the Soviet politician Grigory Petrovsky, who was born in the area and later became a prominent figure in the Communist Party.
