Bruttosähköstä

Bruttosähköstä refers to the total amount of electricity generated by a power plant before any electricity is consumed by the plant's own operations. This is in contrast to net electricity, which is the amount of electricity delivered to the grid or consumers after internal consumption has been subtracted. For example, a power plant uses some of its generated electricity to power its own machinery, lighting, and control systems. This internally consumed electricity is considered part of the bruttosähköstä but not the net electricity.
