Bronchs
Bronchs refers to a colloquial or informal term sometimes used to describe bronchi, which are the air passages of the lungs. The bronchi are part of the respiratory system and are responsible for carrying air from the trachea (windpipe) into the lungs. They branch out into smaller and smaller tubes, eventually leading to the alveoli, where gas exchange occurs. In common parlance, "bronchs" might be used in discussions about respiratory issues such as bronchitis, an inflammation of the bronchi, or when referring to the general health of these airways. Medical professionals typically use the term "bronchi" or more specific anatomical terms when discussing the respiratory system. The plural form of bronchus is bronchi.
