Brigadeführer
Brigadeführer was a senior general officer rank in the Schutzstaffel (SS) of Nazi Germany, used by both the Allgemeine SS and the Waffen-SS. The title literally means "brigade leader." In the SS hierarchy, Brigadeführer stood above the rank of Oberführer and below Gruppenführer, placing it among the senior general officers as the organization expanded in the 1930s and during the war.
