Breminale

Breminale is an annual free cultural festival in Bremen, Germany. Held during the summer on and around the Weser riverbanks, it brings together diverse arts communities for several days of performances and participatory events.

The festival features multiple stages with music ranging from indie, world music, and electronic to folk; theatre, dance, poetry, circus, and street performance; as well as installations, workshops, film screenings, and market stalls.

Attendance is largely free, with most events open to the public; some performances or venues may sell tickets.

Breminale is organized by a non-profit association and relies heavily on volunteer help, local sponsors, and public support.

It originated in the late 1990s as a neighborhood event and has evolved into a city-wide summer festival. The festival aims to promote regional artists, intercultural exchange, and experimental art forms, attracting visitors from Bremen and surrounding regions.
