Breidafjörður is a fjord located on the west coast of Iceland, to the north of Snæfellsnes peninsula. It is situated to the south of the island's major fjord system, Eyjafjörður. Breidafjörður stretches approximately 150 kilometers in length, with a maximum depth of about 130 meters.
