Bothromanticism

Bothromanticism is a romantic orientation that involves romantic attraction to both men and women. Individuals who identify as bothromantic may experience romantic feelings towards people of any gender or may be attracted to people of multiple genders. This orientation is distinct from bisexuality, which refers to sexual attraction to both men and women, and from pansexuality, which refers to attraction to people regardless of their gender.

Bothromanticism is not a widely recognized term in the LGBTQ+ community, and its prevalence is not well-documented. However, it is gaining recognition as more people explore and express their romantic orientations. Bothromantic individuals may identify as bothromantic, demisexual, or other labels that reflect their unique romantic experiences.

Bothromanticism is not mutually exclusive with other romantic orientations. For example, a person may identify as bothromantic and aromantic, meaning they experience romantic attraction but not asexuality. Similarly, a person may identify as bothromantic and panromantic, meaning they experience romantic attraction to people regardless of their gender.

Bothromanticism is a valid and important aspect of romantic diversity. It is essential to recognize and respect the experiences of bothromantic individuals, as well as the experiences of people who may not identify as bothromantic but still experience romantic attraction to multiple genders.
