Bonitätssysteme
Bonitätssysteme, also known as credit scoring systems, are mechanisms used by lenders and other financial institutions to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. The primary goal is to predict the likelihood of a borrower defaulting on their financial obligations. These systems typically analyze a wide range of data points, including payment history, outstanding debt, credit utilization, length of credit history, and types of credit used. Negative factors can include late payments, defaults, and a high amount of existing debt. Positive factors often involve a long history of timely payments and a low credit utilization ratio.
Different types of Bonitätssysteme exist, ranging from simple statistical models to more complex artificial intelligence-driven algorithms.
