Bomullsfibrerna
Bomullsfibrerna are the natural fibers obtained from the cotton plant, scientifically known as Gossypium. These fibers are essentially outgrowths of epidermal cells of the cotton seeds. The primary component of cotton fiber is cellulose, a complex carbohydrate, making it a highly renewable resource. The process of harvesting cotton involves collecting these fibers, which are then separated from the seeds through a method called ginning.
Once ginned, the cotton fibers are cleaned and processed into yarn. This yarn is then used in
