Bombonera

Bombonera, officially Estadio Alberto J. Armando, is a football stadium in the La Boca district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the home ground of Boca Juniors and is owned and operated by the club. The venue opened on May 25, 1940, and has a spectator capacity of about 49,000. The nickname "La Bombonera" stems from its compact, box-like shape, which is widely associated with the stadium’s identity.

The stadium is renowned for its distinctive design, featuring very steep stands that bring fans close to the pitch and create a close, intense atmosphere during matches.
