Blodomsättning

Blodomsättning, also known as blood circulation, is the process by which blood flows through the body's circulatory system. It is a continuous process that begins with the heart pumping oxygenated blood from the left ventricle into the aorta, the largest artery in the body. From the aorta, blood is distributed to all parts of the body through a network of arteries and capillaries.

In the tissues, oxygen is released from the blood into the cells, and carbon dioxide, a waste product, is taken up by the blood. This deoxygenated blood then flows back to the heart through veins, eventually entering the right atrium. The heart then pumps this deoxygenated blood to the lungs, where it is oxygenated again.
