Blasien
Blasien is a small municipality in the southern part of the Black Forest in the German state of Baden‑Württemberg. It lies in the district of Schwarzwald‑Oberamt, about 40 kilometres south of Freiburg and roughly 15 kilometres east of Überlingen on the shores of Lake Constance. The community covers an area of 71 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 1,500 residents. Its elevation ranges from 570 to 1,140 metres above sea level, giving it a varied landscape of forested hills and open pastures.
