Biscop
Biscop is a small village located in the county of Northumberland, England, situated approximately 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Hexham and 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The village lies along the A1 road, which connects England to Scotland, and is bordered by the River Till to the north. Historically, Biscop has been associated with early Christian settlement and monastic activity, particularly due to its proximity to the ruins of Biscop Ingolme, an important 7th-century monastic site.
