Bereitet

Bereitet is the third-person singular present indicative form of the German verb bereiten. The verb bereiten means to prepare, to cause, or to bring about a state or feeling, and it is used transitively with a direct object. Examples include: Es bereitet mir Freude. (It gives me pleasure.) Der Weg bereitet ihm Kopfschmerzen. (The road causes him headaches.)

The infinitive of the verb is bereiten and the past participle is bereitet. The form bereitet also appears in the imperative plural: Bereitet euch vor!
