Berbatov

Dimitar Berbatov is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bulgarian players of all time and is known for his elegant playing style, technical skill, and goal-scoring ability.

Berbatov began his career at his hometown club CSKA Sofia, where he emerged as a prolific young talent. He moved to Bayer Leverkusen in Germany in 2001, spending several successful seasons there before transferring to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in 2006. At Tottenham, he quickly established himself as a fan favorite, winning the League Cup in 2008.

In 2008, Berbatov made a high-profile move to Manchester United. During his time at Old Trafford, he won two Premier League titles, including the 2010-11 season where he was the joint top scorer. He also won the League Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. After leaving Manchester United, he had spells at Fulham, AS Monaco, and PAOK Thessaloniki, before returning to his native Bulgaria to play for ATK in the Indian Super League, where he concluded his playing career.

Internationally, Berbatov represented the Bulgarian national team from 2004 to 2010, earning 78 caps and scoring 48 goals, making him the country's all-time leading scorer. He captained Bulgaria at UEFA Euro 2004.

Berbatov's playing style was characterized by his superb first touch, aerial ability, vision, and knack for scoring crucial goals.
