Beneluxunionen
Beneluxunionen, commonly referred to as the Benelux Union, is a regional intergovernmental cooperation framework between Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. It aims to promote economic integration and political coordination by harmonizing policies in areas such as the internal market, transport, energy, environment, justice and home affairs, culture and education, and cross-border cooperation. The union serves to facilitate closer cooperation among the three neighboring states while respecting national sovereignty. It also maintains coordination with the European Union, aligning positions on EU policy where shared interests exist.
