Batholiittien

Batholiittien is a Finnish term referring to batholiths, which are large igneous intrusions. These formations are composed of multiple plutons, which are solidified magma chambers that cooled deep within the Earth's crust. Batholiths are typically composed of felsic or intermediate rocks like granite and granodiorite. They are formed over long geological timescales, often millions of years, as molten rock slowly crystallizes beneath the surface.
