Basketballplaying
Basketballplaying is the act of taking part in basketball, a team game on a rectangular court. Two teams compete to score by shooting a ball through a hoop mounted ten feet high. Typically five players from each team are on the court, though variants such as 3-on-3 occur in practice and competition. Core skills include dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense, with the objective to outscore the opponent through field goals and free throws.
