Basiswechseländerungen
Basiswechseländerungen, also known as change of basis, is a fundamental concept in linear algebra. It refers to the process of expressing a vector in terms of a different set of basis vectors than the one originally used. A basis for a vector space is a set of linearly independent vectors that span the entire space. Any vector in that space can be uniquely represented as a linear combination of these basis vectors.
When we change the basis, we are essentially changing the coordinate system used to describe the vectors.
The change-of-basis matrix allows us to convert the coordinates of a vector from one basis to another.
