Baglihar
Baglihar is a hydroelectric power station located on the Chenab River in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The project is a run-of-the-river scheme, meaning it does not involve a large reservoir. It consists of two power stations, Baglihar I and Baglihar II, with a total installed capacity of 900 megawatts. The dam is a concrete gravity dam. Construction of the project began in 2004 and was completed in two phases, with the first stage becoming operational in 2008 and the second in 2015.
