BMUs

BMUS, or the British Medical Ultrasound Society, is a professional association in the United Kingdom that represents clinicians, sonographers, radiographers, physicists, and researchers who use ultrasound in medical practice. It serves as a national body for ultrasound professionals across the NHS and private sectors.

The society provides guidance on best practices, safety, and quality assurance; develops standards and training frameworks; and supports professional development through educational activities, resources, and networking opportunities. It aims to promote high-quality patient care through accurate and safe ultrasound use.
