Azulejotiled refers to surfaces decorated with azulejos, which are glazed ceramic tiles. These tiles are a significant part of Moorish and Portuguese decorative art and architecture. Traditionally, azulejos are hand-painted, often featuring intricate geometric patterns, floral motifs, or narrative scenes. The word "azulejo" itself originates from the Arabic word "al-zillij," meaning polished stone.
