Awoamefia

The Awoamefia is the paramount chief of the Anlo people, an Ewe-speaking ethnic group primarily residing in the Volta Region of Ghana. The title translates to "one who has conquered and is at peace," signifying a leader who has overcome challenges and brought stability. The current Awoamefia is Togbi Sri III, who ascended to the throne in 1998.

The position of Awoamefia holds significant cultural and traditional importance. The Awoamefia is the spiritual and political leader of the Anlo Ewe, overseeing traditional governance, customary law, and cultural practices.
