Awash

Awash is a town in central Ethiopia, situated in the Afar Region near the country’s eastern border. It serves as an important hub for regional trade, agriculture, and tourism, owing to its strategic location along major transportation routes and proximity to natural attractions. The town lies near the Awash River, which is one of the most significant waterways in Ethiopia, supporting local agriculture and ecosystems.
